I think Designers and Contestant Holders alike, having forums would benefit and a place for discussions. Having been involved with Forums both as an administrator and user, most important is members follow guidelines as set forth by 99Designs.
Too often, people (and not intentional) may use the forum as an outlet for complaints, both designers and contest holders. 99Designs has good support and methods to help with problems. People should, however, feel free to discuss problems on from all people involved in a contest and could only help people. I would definitely participate and look forward to the development of a community.

As a newcomer to the site, I was quite surprised there was no place to discuss such a rich and varied service. I'd like to be able to talk to other designers, help out with discussion of how to use tools, current trends and design in general and would bet a lot of others would want to be part of that community too. While we are all in competition together, helping others with advice would help raise the quality of work submitted and benefit everyone in the long run.

Be careful with this designer http://99designs.com/users/566322
If 1 contest with him, he has a lot of cheating, by way of stealing the entry belongs to other designers, and upload at flicker.com, and you will be accused of having stolen from flicker.com.

It has a lot of designers who cheated.

...ok, I would love to see the forum is back on 99Designs, just like the old time where we can discuss everything inside the 99Designs itself not through other services or blog, because we cannot posting on 99Designs blog if we have something to discuss in a rush .. right?

I think we don't need a big forum.
There would be a lot of chatting, offtopic and trolling, and maybe a few useful topics.
I suggest a small forum, strictly moderated with only really relevant topics. -

The Forum
We are still trying to decide how a forum will fit into 99designs beyond the user voice forum which you are reading now and our blog.
I know that this thread contains some ideas but I'd like to pt it out there again for people to comment on:
What are your top three reasons for wanting a forum?
How would it be valuable to you as a designer in the 99designs community?
