Why so many contests are not paying out
I am fairly new to this website...and think it has great potential and see that it is improving all the time.
HOWEVER...after winning an award, I find out that people...whether part of 99desgns or not are getting intouch with CH after a winning award has been chosen and sending them a message saying they will re-create what has been chosen as the winner for a cheaper price.
Very clever, you have to admit...but information tells me that over half of CH go for this offer!
I think there needs to be a solutions for this immediately rather than having people steal designs...It is only right people get paid for their hard work.
How about all designs are kept just for the CH to view? it will then relsolve this issue and many more, including having people contantly copying ideas.
Having to HAVE to be a members of the site, the only way you should be able to view other peoples work is if you actually enter it with a design. I know this probably will not stop this issue but may help control it.
If it continues to happen it will dishearten people and make people leave the site due to wasted time...what more can I say...

altough there is no guarantee that will be a problem solutions. disrespectful CH can always register as a new member designer, and submit a new design then self declared as a winner

alternative solution : turn off CH pm system, so there will be no pm-ing between designer and ch. and after the winner choosen there will a new feature to facilitate ch to contact the winning designer :)

Oh, forgot to log in...I am sarah Dunbar and I have written this idea. I do not think the solutions are fantastic, but I know something needs to be done by this. If any one has any ideas on how to stop people undercutting designers on 99designs, feel free to let me and others know!
