Disqualify entrants that copies ideas from another entrants
There has been a lot of instances where another entrants is just copying a design which has a high rating from the contest holder. Can those entrants be disqualified on the contest? Also, I think it would be best to inform contest holder that they should not permit idea copying.

hmmm this is a tricky one...ive seen this in action and i can tell who's copied.
The only way I can see this working and to remove the "judgement factor"...is that when a designer submits a proposal he/she can tick a box, "private" or "public". Private will only let yourself the CH view the design, whilst the rest can only view a grey box with private written across it.

What if when an entrant who copied ( I know IT IS hard to judge what means COPY) someone`s design ideas would be "rated" as ... and banned to submit designs for contests for "X" days.At the next attempt to copy should be banned forever??And as I said before who and how will be judged?I strongly think this is
a very interesting issue and I`ll keep my eye on it!

As from my part I usually enter in a contest the first or among the first submitters and I can understand what roldanh is saying about the frustration...yeah,happened to me so many times.

who will decide if there is a blatant copy of other entrant?the other entrants in the contest should have the right to come and say " hey,Robert your design ideas are not original,Nadia was the first to came up with that idea,please would you be a sport removing your entry??"

Are you talking about fair-play here,guys?Hmm,I agree with you Nadia with the last part of your comment.And when an entrant copies 4-5 stars design what should be done?

This is really a frustrating issue with most of the contest. I've lost a lot of contest because of copying...sigh...

Only problem is that contest holders, even though informed via general comments area, still ask other designers to copy elements from other designers..... how to stop that? I have no idea :(
