Ensure contests are not ended abruptly before end date declined
Ensure contests cannot be ended abruptly before the end date, thus not wasting designers' time who may still be working on a design, only to find the contest holder has picked someone. I entered a contest (knowing that there were still 3 days left), only to find that by the time I had finished my design which took over 2.5 hours, the contest holder had already declared their winner! Time is precious !!
Contest holders have every right to award a prize early if they find one they like.

and votes are being wasted, because this has been bought up before too ;-)
The contest holder has every right to end it early if they find a design they like... why string along designers and have them enter, if they've found what they like in the first 2 days for example.

So there is two opposite feelings for me on this one. If I had votes left I would give this a 1. There are other great changes that really need to be made on this site, This one could always be dealt with later.

Hi there I do agree but then I don't... I agree because it has happened to me before and I have spent all day working on that logo and then the CH picked a winner already, so basically wasted my time on it. But then again, How about if you were in first place and you wanted to win soo bad that you wanted it to be closed early.
