Force CHs to at least mark a design as "seen"

In order to not treat designers unfairly or leave them in the dark a fair system must exist that forces CHs to at least look at the designs, give stars or comments. It has happened that designers have done work and entered late, but within the timeframe and a winner had been selected. This is unfair and a waste of time. A designer should know if the CH saw the design and there should be some kind of mark or acknowledgement for this. It is ok to not leave a comment if there are many designs, but one should know if it was at least considered.

  1. For example with a litte "eye" logo.

  2. Not keen on this one, but I will leave it around for a while to see how it goes.

  3. Surely the winner should not be selected till the comp closes and to enable late submitters a fair chance. Alternatively if a winner has been chosen the contest should automatically close and reject entries from that time on.

  4. I think it would be dumb of a contest holder to pay and not see all the work but yes it can happen if a work is submitted in the last few hours.
But what's most important in this idea is that it gives the designer the confirmation that is work was seen even if not rated (wich is not a good sign but at least points he has to follow other way).

  5. Yes, that is a good idea.

  6. yes i think is a good idea

  7. i love the idea

  8. Alright idea, but who says the CH isn't looking at the entries? To assure yourself that the CH sees it, don't submit at the very last minute. Submit early and make it stand out- so the CH has more time to see it and grow to love your work. Give him that lasting impression that makes him compare all other entries to yours...just a thought. I don't really think it is necessary, but a decent idea.

  9. I would like to see this happen.

  10. This is a great idea.
