No edit request by contest helder
Don't know how to put it but has designers that you are I'm sure you understand it.
I've noticed that there are lot's of submissions in a contest. And sometimes the contest helder likes one submission but want's it tuned up. The thing wrong about this is that sometimes he requests to lot's of the designers knowing only one will win. If he knows that why is he asking to so many designers to change someting.
Im sure you realize you are working for free.
Yes free! It's nice to compete and make some money but you wouldn't ask the same to electricians or gardeners.
Now to keep the level of the profession. Cos some actually studied this for years I think there should not be fixes or tune ups before the contest is over. A contest helder sees what he wants, a designer knows how to put it that way so let's not abuse, shell we? Or at least limit requests.

Think! Would you hold a contest to save money on Doctors? What if it was an Arquitect? Would you hold a 200 or 300$ competition for making a building? No because they wouldn't buy that story. I sincerely dont get why designers do. After all it takes has many years has any career and most importantly you constantly need to improve.

I dont know what you do. But Im sure you don't do it for free and most importantly you are not told what to do if not getting paid previously. im doing this on the forum just to compete since at the moment I have a lot of free time in the Caribbean ;) But when I did worked in the bissness (mostly imprenta) I would not move me hands for less then 200$ daily. What a professional MUST GET PAID FOR!

Well you are 1 contest holder and obviously don't know how the others behave,
My biggest sugestion is to put in big red letters to contest submitters something like. "DON'T ABUSE! THIS PEOPLE ARE WORKING FOR FREE!!!"
And previously force them to read an agreement in wich things are explained well.

To me, there is some unwritten "ettiquette" in a contest situation like this. Like I don't ask for changes to a design that I know is going in the wrong direction. I try not to ask for "minor" changes that can be cleaned up at the end. I try to stop asing for changes if the design is "close enough" to make a decision.

As a Contest Holder, I have seen how this can be abused (too many requests for changes), but I don't know how it could put into an effective "rule".
