remove withdrown contests from list of contests
Today I've found a contest (http://99designs.com/contests/7290/) and read the brief... and finally I discovered the contest was not accepting entries and it had been withdrawn.
Why showing it in the "Find a contest" list if nobody is to enter?

If they're not withdrawn from the list of contests, maybe there's something to make it POP and more visible to designers. The only way to tell is the greyed out "withdrawn," which can be easily missed.
