  1. Bernardo, what you are suggesting is combining the ideas of multiple designers to get your work, and awarding one designer in the end. Very convenient for contest holders, I agree. And also something I, as a designer, am completely against.

    So yeah, bring that on.

  2. I agree with this. At the very least, hide all the (public viewing of the) designs in the last 24h/48h of the contest.Or something similar.

  3. I disagree also. I don't like further widening the gap between new designers, amateur designers and successful designers on this site. It should be an "all starts from being equal" on every contest.

  4. Yeap!

  5. Yeah, definitely do not go there.

  6. I do not want this feature. It will turn this into a promo site for successful designers. Starting fresh from an "everyone is equal" point for every contest is what I prefer.

  7. Do not agree. I wouldn't want this to turn into a social networking site.

  8. Agreeing strongly with this. Fairness promotes ideas and variation. More steps should be taken to promote fairness.

  9. I still stand by my original point. There tends to be an influx of new designs/designers during the last few hours of the contest. And there's a real chance that they benefit from and overtake the work of longer standing designers. As an alternative, all the submissions can be hidden during the last 24/48hrs of the contest? Or hidden from new designers only? There's a gap in fairness right now.

  10. Let me add a bug report I just noticed, regarding to this. I withdrew all my entries from a contest, but my comments below are still there. And the contest still appears in my "contests entered" list.

  11. Agreed.

  12. It would be nice to have a distinction between withdrawing an entry from a contest, hiding it from public view (but still stored) and deleting it completely.

  13. What if the CH does not want to pick a winner (i.e. does not like the submitted entries)? Will they be able to get some of their money back?

  14. Agreed. We need to know if the CH is satisfied and already considering the designs being offered, or maybe not. Perhaps a status indicator with labels like undecided, selecting winning design, not satisfied etc...
