yes, there should be forum. Why not just install, PhpBB which easy very, very easy to setup? it takes only about 20 minutes to install it..

well, I agree that the starting fee for a contest should be raised. But why not just raise the amount of points which are necessary to start a contest? now its 39 points. this amount could be raised to 70 points or more.
The implementation of this feature (combined with private invitations) would give 99designs a great boost.
This feature would enable contest holders to work with preselected designers which guarantee a minimum standard of quality. i think there are many contest holders out there who are willing pay more when they have the option to work with designers that match their taste.
