  1. i don't want to vote for prepaid contests being an option, i want to vote for prepaid contests being the only kinds of contests on 99designs and nothing less. so my three votes on this post are for that.

  2. ok that's cool i got a little crazy with it but it was in hopes that i would etch it firmly in your guys' minds that this needs to be taken care of yesterday

  3. PREPAID CONTESTS SHOULDN'T be standard OPTION! IT SHOULD BE THE ONLY way to hold a contest at all. It makes no sense to have it any other way

  4. you have to rise up from nothing to make it in any industry, this is the same thing. are you a child or something because the last time i heard someone say they wanted something to be "easier" for them it was my little niece.

  5. yeah, of course, ulahts wins a few just because he has such a hefty portfolio and CH's just assume he knows what he's doing so they'll pick his design over another's but this is a retarded post quite frankly because life in general is about hustling and trying to be better than the best. I don't support this at all.

  6. also, please check out the prepaid contests post at the very top for some interesting points : )

  7. i already voted on the portfolio post. try just contributing to that post to help get this point across better because i think it's a very good idea and i would like it a lot.

  8. g even more. Definitely not a good idea. Please don't do this 99designs!

  9. no! please don't do this! if only you knew how many contests i've gotten screwed out of winning that I SHOULD HAVE WON. ME. I SHOULD HAVE WON them but always something happened. either they just bailed on the contest completely or just didn't get in contact with me. It's incredible. I don't like this idea at all because it would largely misrepresent a lot of designers and prevent them from winnin

  10. Also please check out the prepaid contests post at the very top : D i discuss my thoughts on this

  11. I can only put 3 votes on this but i would have used them all. This is the best post on this uservoice thing. No question.

  12. Oh this is SUCH A GOOD IDEA! I used all my votes on it! Please if you hear me Lachlan, Annessley, all you guys, please look into making this a reality! please!

  13. that's what i'm trying to say. a credits system of some sort.

  14. who wants kudos? that doesn't really reward you for your hard-work. I think a credit system could be more efficient.

  15. yeah it shouldn't be "required" that you type something just for you to submit an entry. It should be optional. I always just put --- cause that saves time but if i want to butter-up the CH i'll type some stuff, you know what i'm saying? By the way buttering-up CH's doesn't even really work cause i don't ever win any contests.

  16. Hey I would love this! That'd be wonderful i just wonder if 99designs has time for this?

  17. pay 99design first and get a guaranteed contest label on your contest and trust me you will have no problem getting a good amount of entries even with a $150 prize

  18. i agree that their discussion board posts should be considered too because i see alot of unhealthy contests where all the feedback is just on the discussion board. I think they were also having problems figuring out how to even give feedback individually but with the new "click to leave feedback" that won't be as big of a problem

  19. that's a good idea, i'm just wondering cause sometimes the brief is really long...it could take up a huge part of the page...I wonder if that would cause problems somehow, like make it run slow or something. i don't know though, it could work...

  20. I rarely actually click on someones design i just rest the cursor on it and view it like that from the contest page. so i think this feature wouldn't even be that accurate...just my opinion

  21. this is a decent idea but i find that things that try to control or evaluate someones account are futile if it is so easy to start a new account. A CH that gets some negative feedback can easily never log on with that name again and start holding contests with a new name completely clean slate. Maybe create something that would entice users to keep improving on their 1 account.........?

  22. others can back this up, but i reuse concepts all the time. it's totally ok. But, what abo some sort of "credits" system where the winner of a contest gets paid and everything's normal with that, but then the designers or even the contest holder for that matter could vote on the design they think is the next best and award that person with some sort of credit......understand this is just a thought

  23. awesome! the filter is a great idea also!

  24. it shouldn't be about "seniority" persay but more about reliability. can this person moderate a community? maybe have an application or form of some sort, informing of the person's personality and trustworthiness? i don't know if that's exactly what is needed but i still want a decent amount of seniority invlved in this because i hate rookies that think they already know everything

  25. i don't understand? i thought CH's could already do this. can you elaborate?

  26. oooh! i like this idea very much! definitely look into doing this!!!!

  27. please do this! this is necessary

  28. no this would just be a pointless feature that would make the site more confuysing. keep it simple and user-friendly!

  29. yeah it really wouldn't make that much of a difference, your idea

  30. yup it sure does

  31. agree! i wanted this since the first unveiling of the new design!

  32. agree with Bob! don't do it!!!
