But what if a moderator (long-time designer) would give a comment on a certain entry, couldn't that be a bad thing for the other designers. It might bias the decision of the CH. So there should be a rule about that , eh? I mean, do you get my point? ;-?
Yes, designers love to have feedbacks and star ratings. This keeps them going. With the new health system now, you will definitely notice that most contests who only had a few entries in are marked "unhealthy". ;)
i agree with chriscubos and dddesign. if your design is worth the winning, then you shouldn't be afraid of anyone copying your designs. That is why each entry is numbered so that in a way the CH would also know as to whose idea it really was. Besides, quick response of designer also matters to most CHs a lot, not just the entry.
Very nice suggestion! And maybe the CH also needs an "eBay" thing, whether the designer has submitted designs after payment. This way, it's fair for both designer and CH.
i agree with lachlan. i've been on this kind of system (from a different site).. It didn't work for me. It was difficult not knowing what the CH wanted. And, mostly, newbies in there do not win. Maybe so, your entry wasn't really copied. Maybe the other contestant just followed the brief, same as you did. Yes, there are indeed a few who'd copy designs, but there are only a few. You cannot judge.
if you dont want it to open on the same page, you can just always right click and "open in new tab/window". , right?

Why can't 99designs just have moderators who aren't designers - that way it is fair for all. And no more problem on the voting thing..

Agree with Bob, never ever do this! A lot of designers can just get discouraged with this, coz as Nadia said, people abuse.

Id say, we keep the current system of 99designs! It's the best for me, so far!
