Moderation is needed there 4 sure - logos in particular
I personaly don't care if moderation is done by senior designers or someone else but we need it for sure. I don't think that senior designers are bad choice but if it would make community even more happy there could be moderation team that would vote on removal on entries. Personaly I would trust ulahts or any other senior members judgment.
While I totaly agree with ulahts I'm pointing out the fact that many CH's will refere to individual feedback when people ask for comments on their work (see other comments/feedbacks etc.)
In my oppinion feedback should be visible to CH and entry designer only - that would make CH comment more and give more global feedback
All contests should be prepaid - that would make CH's more serious about their projects and designers less concerned if they will pick a winner at the end.
That would also eliminate non paying CH's because they will need to pay upfront.
Totaly Against It ... 99designs is market place where CH should be the one to rate the creative (or non creative) work - after all work is done for them. For designers that want their work rated and showcased there are loads of rating sites so in my oppinion this is bad feature.
